Ron Warburg, also known as Phøn, composes music unbound by genre. A two-time Thelonious Monk Institute finalist and full-scholarship Berklee graduate, he came up as a trumpet player, performing live with artists including Phil Woods, Esperanza Spalding, and Omer Avital. He played trumpet on Silvana Estrada's Latin Grammy–nominated song "Como Un Pájaro," recorded with Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, In the Heights), and wrote additional music for The Last Ranger, an Oscar-nominated short scored by John Powell.

As Phøn, he's built an entire world around dark, brass-heavy, and conspiratorial sounds. Samples by Phøn has sold to thousands of producers worldwide, and his work across recordings, productions, and collaborations has accumulated millions of streams.
